Currently you can experience a short wait for an appointment with our psychiatrists.

Aleris PP is a private clinic, which means you can schedule an appointment with us without a referral from your doctor. You cannot use a referral to get your treatment covered by the public sector at Aleris PP.

We help with the application for reimbursement of your prescription and write a discharge summary for your doctor without additional fees. We can renew prescriptions twice between appointments without further costs. After this you will need to consult a psychiatrist to further renew your prescriptions.

Psychiatric Assessment

Pre-assessment screening

A thorough examination by a psychiatrist or a specialized psychologist. The examination creates the basis for a potential assessment at Aleris PP.

Supplementary cognitive assessment for youths between ages 18 and 25 and by individual recommendation.

Please note: To undergo psychiatric assessment at Aleris PP, you need to have participated in a pre-assessment screening. The pre-assessment screening costs 5000 DKK and is not included in the psychiatric assessment pricing.

A psychiatric assessment includes the necessary neuropsychological examinations and other tests, interdisciplinary conference and a feedback interview with a psychiatrist or a specialized psychologist. During the feedback interview we go through the results and confer about a further course of action.

The price covers the phychiatric assessment. Subsequent treatment will be billed separately.

Terms and Conditions

We reserve 1 hour per session. Of this hour we spend 45 minutes on the actual consultation and the remaining 15 minutes on preparations, writing statements and administrative tasks such as ordering tests or regulating your prescription. If there is a need for phone or e-mail consultations, reading through record statements, cooperating with other healthcare professionals, or other, that goes beyond the session's allocated timeframe, it will be invoiced separately by the hour.

To remind you of your appointment at Aleris PP we will send you a text (SMS) when the appointment is scheduled as well as 24 hours before your appointment.

Prices and Payment

Please remember to stop by our reception desk upon arrival to finalize your payment. We accept credit cards and MobilePay.

Fees apply to adults at the age of 18 or older. You may be charged an additional language fee for psychiatric assessment in English. You can inquire more about this fee when scheduling your appointment.

Cancellations

If you are prevented from showing up for your appointment, please notify the clinic no later than the weekday before (9am to 3pm, Monday to Friday). In cases of late cancellation or no-show, we will invoice for the scheduled appointment.

Reimbursement Options for Treatment by a Psychologist or Psychiatrist

Reimbursement via Your Workplace

Private and public workplaces have the option to cover treatment for their employees tax-free. An increasing number of employers choose to use this option.

Coverage via Your Insurance

Aleris PP works with several insurance and pension companies. If you have a health insurance, you can often be reimbursed for treatment by psychologists or psychiatrists at Aleris PP. You may also be able to use other insurance policies.

We recommend that you contact your insurance company and inquire about your options for reimbursement for psychological or psychiatric assessment or treatment at Aleris PP. If we are not a regular part of the limited network your insurance company uses, you may be able to be referred to us anyway.

Reimbursing a Psychologist Session via Sygeforsikringen "danmark"

Aleris PP is certified by Sygeforsikringen "danmark" as a treatment facility. You can be reimbursed for therapy with an authorized psychologist at Aleris PP according to current regulations regardless of whether you are a member of group 1, 2, or 5. Remember to state your membership of Sygeforsikringen "danmark" when scheduling an appointment.

Group 2 in Public Health Insurance

At Aleris PP in Copenhagen, Aarhus and Vejle you can be reimbursed for consultations with a psychiatrist provided you enroll in health insurance group 2 in the public health insurance. We are not able to make recommendations regarding health insurance groups.
